...Canvas Corp {love}...Day 3

The first 2 posts in the series are here and here, in case you missed 'em...

Today I'm gonna show you how I used another of the Canvas Corp canvas tags to make what I'm using as a little coupon holder...

I used one of the canvas tags that I used in post 1 for the larger canvas chalkboard tag...like I said then, these tags were really two pieces sewn together, so I just separated the two.

I have this ah-mazing book with some really cool vintage embroidery patterns in it...

I just ironed one of the patterns on to the tag, embroidered it up, attached some deco-weight fabric I had with a little fusible interfacing (to give it some strength), sewed up the sides and it's done!

...just tell me that dancing food is not adorable...I dare you...

I wanted to leave the sewing, cutting, etc. pretty rough...I really like the look...

...this is my first time embroidering anything...holy crow is that fun...I think I'm hooked...

...seriously, just look at that pear...

Now if I can only remember to bring it to the store with me...oh, yeah, and to clip the coupons...
