And this year, I am bound and determined to have teachers' gifts ready to go for the last day of school...I absolutely refuse to run out the night before to any store that happens to be open to get a gift card (like last year...). Now, please, don't get me wrong...I adore gift cards...I think they are fabulous and they can be a fantastic gift...especially for me...in case you feel the need to buy me something...BUT, I, personally, am getting weary of buying them for every occasion.
So...this year I wanted to go with something different...
And this is what I came up with...
My friend, Lisa, is a thirty-one representative...and I bought these darling Littles Carry-All Caddies from her. I knew I wanted to add something to them...and both kids' have teachers who had new babies early in the school year...sooo, I decided to turn the bags into little summer emergency kits.
I headed out to Target & stocked up on some summer essentials...hand wipes, bug spray, sunscreen, tissues, and Bite MD (have you tried this stuff??? It is AWESOME). Then I just popped them into the little bag...easy peasy lemon squeezy. I'll have the kids make little Thank You cards to pop into the front pockets (adorable) & done!
Easy, inexpensive (the caddies are just $12.00! - but any container would do) & just a little different from my norm...
