First off, I want to THANK YOU for all of your support during by brief stint on American Crafter...you guys are the best!
I know I've been MIA for about a week or so...we've had some exciting things happening here...yay!
Last week we got all new flooring...and by "all new flooring," I mean new floors for almost our entire house...woo hoo!
Here are some "befores"...(disclaimer...these are really awful photos...all of the accessories had already been removed from the room and I was getting ready for the installers...OK...now that you know that...)
And some "afters"...(again, not the best...except for the floors...those are the best...)
...why yes, that is the same mat Miss Mustard Seed has in her dining room...thankyouverymuch...
That's right...Brazilian Cherry hardwood throughout our main level (living room, dining room, kitchen), up the stairs and down the hallway...new carpeting in the bedrooms...it's like living in a new house...I'm in love. So I've been spending my days moving furniture and accessories from one room to another, cleaning & rearranging. It's been so much fun, but I'm tired...and now I need to repaint the trim & the walls...(smile).
Thursday, my dear friend Michelle dropped off breakfast for me (a Dunkin Donuts pumpkin muffin)...don't you love friends like this? I just had to include this because it was soooo yummy...
Isn't that little quote bubble so cute? It's from the Microcrafts book I reviewed last week...love...
Friday, the kids had a photo shoot with our amazing photographer, Amy Tripple (see a preview of their session here)...if you live in the Chicagoland area, I highly suggest booking a session with Amy (she even has some left for this season!)...
And Saturday I did something reeeaaallly awesome...here's a little sneak-peak...more on this later...
I have some super-exciting things coming up in the next few weeks...some really fun projects, Halloween, my 2nd linky party (Autumn & Thanksgiving-themed!) and my birthday! That's right! In less than 2 weeks I'll be celebrating the 10th anniversary of my 29th birthday...and I'll be starting my "40 before 40" series. Fun stuff!
Get excited!!! And have a great Monday...
