It's that time again! Layout sneaks for the newest Studio Calico Kits...Sugar Rush!
The newest set of kits from the amazing Studio Calico is sure to please...they are a mix of beautiful colors, fun patterns & darling shapes!
I'm going to let you in on a little secret. When I first opened up my kits I thought to myself..."hmmm...what am I going to do with these?"
You see, pink is not generally a color I use an awful lot.
And the first thing I noticed about the main kit was all the pink. Hmmm...
So I decided to let everything just sit for a few days.
I laid everything out on my craft table and looked at it throughout the weekend...and on Sunday night I sat down to create. I still wasn't sure exactly what I was going to make. And I was starting to get a little nervous. So I started playing around with some of the cut files & photos and patterned papers...shifting them and layering them and then...then...I was inspired. And then I couldn't stop. I created these 6 layouts in one sitting. I couldn't get enough of the patterns and colors and designs. And now Sugar Rush is my all time favorite kit. (I'm pretty sure I say that every month...but SC really seems to out-do themselves every month...no lie).
This layout was the first one I made with the main kit. I used a few of the digital cut files here, too...because they seriously rock.
This little sneak comes from a layout that I made with only the main kit, too. I can't tell you just how versatile this kit is...I'm so glad I gave it a chance...(smile).
The third layout I created with just the main kit is a little different than the projects I usually make...I'm excited for you to see this one...
This fun sneak comes from a layout I did with both the main kit and the kit and a few digital files...I think that alphabet card is my new boyfriend. Yes, it's a boy. Because I said so.
And yes...this sneak says "lovely painted rock." Your eyes aren't deceiving you. This layout was made with the main kit and addons...and, of course, some digital cuts & printables.
My final sneak for today is of a layout I created with the main kit and addons. And I think it just may be my new favorite layout. Maybe. I also really like the "painted rock" one and the alphabet card one. Oh, and the other 3, too.
