Oh, I'll try to make cards. I'll cut up some cardstock, grab some supplies and pretend I can make cards...but I can't.
Well, let me say I couldn't...
...until Heidi Swapp introduced her Color Magic cards. And now I can make cards. I'm still no expert...but I'm getting better...
Here, let me show you how easy Heidi has made it with these new sets...
...this is what you get with each set...
2 different cards & 2 envelopes. All-white and just waiting to be dressed up with Color Shine and your imagination. Awesome. And there are 5 different sets to choose from!
Some Black Velvet Color Shine, some pieces from the Hello Today Ephemera & a little twine turn this little File Folder card into a trendy Valentine's Day card...
The mini-dot stencil that comes with the Bracket Stencil Set is my favorite right now. I created this polka-dot background with the stencil, a make-up sponge and Heidi's Navy Blue Ink Pad. I adore it...I want to use it on everything!
Now, I will tell you...this last card is more like a mini-layout than a card. I added a photo of my Dad and me and tucked some journaling into a glassine envelope under the fold. But I love it. And it's the perfect size to keep on my desk.
And to cover the inside, I used a few stamps and some patterned paper...
I think what I love most about these little cards is that they are COMPLETELY customizable. You want a pink card? Make it pink. You want a yellow card? Make it yellow. You want a navy blue & gold card? Make it navy blue & gold.
All of these blank Color Magic cards...as well as Heidi's entire Hello Today Collection...can be found exclusively at Michaels Craft Stores.
And don't forget to check back Thursday when I'll be sharing some more fun ideas for Valentine's Day using these spectacular cards!
