SPARKLE...a new SC class with Shanna Noel

The start of a new month means just one thing at Studio Calico...a brand new class! This month brings us "Sparkle" with the wonderful Shanna Noel! Yayay! And I'm so proud and excited to say that I am contributing to this class! Again, yayay! Here's what Studio Calico has to say about "Sparkle..." Shine bright in Shanna Noel's Sparkle class! Shanna will demonstrate expert techniques using mists, glitter, paint, stamping, and script to show you how to add serious glamour to any project.

When it comes to metallics, silver is a classic choice, but Shanna will show you how to combine colors like gold and black to make a bold statement. She'll give you tips on putting ZING glitter and metallic inks to use with your stamp sets, along with leading you through painting techniques that will add the right amount of shine to any project. You'll learn the best ways to layer metallic materials to create totally fun and unique looks that really shimmer.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED :

It's time to dig into your supplies and find anything metallic! Ink, embossing powder, mist, paint, glitter,sequins - we'll be experimenting with just about everything that sparkles!

In the market for some new fun sparkly stuff? Here are a few of my favorite supplies from the class...

Shanna designed that stamp set up there (top left)...and I am diggin' it. Can't wait to get my hands on it!

And those confetti rub-ons? Truth be told...if Ashley Goldberg designs it, I'm buying it.

As with all SC classes, you don't NEED to buy any of the class supplies in order to participate in the class...the extra supplies are just fun. In fact, you probably have at least some fun metallic items already in your stash! The point is to learn something new...and to create, create, create!
